Arnold Brown

Arnold Brown is a veteran on the comedy circuit and as such can cherry pick his gigs, so why he only plays the Chuckle Club I’ve yet to figure out. This means he isn’t traipsing around the circuit as much as other acts and I for one, find this slightly disheartening.

His slightly surreal lies about his life (“no, that didn’t happen”) do take some getting used to, but as soon as you tap into his train of thought I can guarantee you’ll be roaring with laughter.

Arnold Brown has a gift, he can turn a story as outwardly banal as a trip to Sainsbury’s into a voyage of (slightly scathing) discovery, making him an asset to any line-up
