Emporium of Mirth

Sean Meo

With the looks of Steve Buscemi and the wardrobe of your dad, ex snooker player Sean Meo’s act is hit and miss at best. As the compare of the evening, he was relying on audience participation to liven up proceedings, and provide a springboard for his material. Sometimes, this worked perfectly but others were badly judged. After speaking to a food safety officer, he asked her to use her influence on wheel clamping before launching into his wheel clamping based routine.

A lot of his material is brilliantly realised and by his final entrance of the evening, he appeared to have shunned his audience participation idea and as a result, performed a routine which delivered on his earlier promises.
